Our Guidance Counselors accompanied a group of students for an on-campus visit to Ohio University! Not only did students get to tour the campus, but they also attended an admission informational meeting, and were served lunch. We'd like to thank Connect Four Club, a new organization at Chillicothe High School that serves as a college coaching resource that helps students through the college application process, finding and applying for scholarships, college visits, and more!

We’d like to say congratulations to Cloey Hughes for having not one, but TWO of her paintings selected at the regional competition for the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. Tre Beard, a 2020 CHS Graduate, has gone on to play basketball at Shawnee State University. He was recently recognized as the 2025 River States Conference Player of the Year! Congratulations, Tre!

We had a very nice board meeting at Chillicothe Primary School last night! CPS students led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and shared thank you cards with our board of education.
We thanked our Board of Education for all of their hard work, and unwavering dedication to the district.
