It's officially Winter Break! We hope everyone is able to relax, enjoy time with family and friends, and get ready to head into the new year. We'll see you January 7th, 2026!

There will be many opportunities to get out and support our Cavaliers this weekend! Let’s cheer on our student-athletes and show some spirit!

🎄✨ Over the past few weeks, the Keys to Success Ambassadors have been busy spreading holiday cheer by helping Fill A Cruise collect toy donations for children in Ross County. Their hearts for service truly shine this season! 🤍 A huge thank you to Rural King and Dollar General for allowing us to collect donations at your stores—your support made this possible! Today was especially magical as Santa himself stopped by Chillicothe STEM Preschool alongside Keys to Success Ambassadors from Chillicothe High School. 🎅❤️ They visited each classroom, passed out the donated toys, helped with crafts, and filled the school with smiles, laughter, and holiday cheer. 🎨🎁 A special thank you to Santa Nick and our amazing K2S Ambassadors for making today extra special for our littlest Cavs. We are so proud of our Ambassadors for giving back and making a difference in our community! 💙🎄

The Adena Mobile Health Clinic will be stationed outside of Chillicothe High School on January 19th, 2026!

As the first semester comes to a close, we are incredibly proud of the amazing accomplishments achieved by our students and staff. We look forward to building on this success and having an amazing second semester!

Important Dates & Reminders

Early Release Reminder: This Friday, December 19th, is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM.

Winter Break: Students will begin their winter break following the early release on December 19th and will return to school on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Good afternoon. Our Boys Basketball game against Hillsboro is on for tonight. Also, our Middle School Band Concert at 6pm and High School Band Concert at 7pm are also happing as scheduled.

Chillicothe City School District will be closed on Tuesday, December 16th!

There will be no school on Monday, December 15th!

Due to forecasted weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, staff, and families, Chillicothe City School District will be closed on Saturday, December 13. All district activities scheduled after 12:00 PM are canceled. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize safety. Please continue to monitor district communications for any additional updates.

The Chillicothe High School Choir Cookie Walk, and the CHS/CMS Holiday Choir Concert were a huge success! We had a great event full of sweet treats and lovely music! 🍪🎶 The 2025 Cookie Walk Category Winners were…..🥁 🪅A Fortnite Christmas - Best Overall, Best Dessert 💖Christmas In Oz - Best Costumes 💋Mean Girls - Most Original Everyone did a splendid job!

The Chillicothe Middle School and High School Holiday Choir Concert and Cookie Walk is still on for tonight, December 11th! The CMS Choirs begin at 5:00PM!

You may have received a text update saying tonight's event is cancelled. This is an update for Unioto's choir concert, also this evening. We are working on remedying the issue, so our all-text announcements do not get mixed up! Thank you for your patience, and be sure to come out and support our singers this evening!

AIM is a collaboration between Chillicothe High School and Adena Regional Medical Center! Students include: Sam Byrd, Isaac Crawford, Jake Suwannasing, Thomas Fitton, Triton Alderman, and Darlene Maravilla! 🎄🩺
